Amateur Golfers nationwide begin journey to Pinehurst

AMATEUR GOLFERS NATIONWIDE BEGIN PATH TO PINEHURST WITH REGISTRATION FOR THE 2009 McGLADREY TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Local Qualifying Events for the Third Annual McGladrey Team Championship will be conducted throughout all 41 PGA sections from now through September. To see a complete schedule and/or register to participate in a Local Qualifying Event in your market, please visit www.pga.com/teamchampionship.

The McGladrey Team Championship culminates with the National Championship — featuring 41 four-member PGA Section champion teams — which will take place Oct. 26-28, at the world renowned Pinehurst (N.C.) Resort.

The McGladrey Team Championship is the PGA of America’s only nationwide amateur best-ball competition, with a combined purse in excess of $1.2 million.
