Callaway Golf

I can’t believe I missed this and I’m still kicking myself…Callaway Golf put out a casting call to model their Golf Apparel on April 5, 2007, Los Angeles.

Here’s the brief -

Please only participate if you meet the following requirements: Callaway Golf Apparel is looking for its Spring/Summer 2008 Catalog Models! Knowledge and Familiarity with the game, personality, professionalism and the ability to have fun are a must!

Whilst also looking for Woman, here’s the Male criteria:

30-40 years of age -everyone says I look younger, so might have got away with this, although I notice it’s 2008′s catalog.
Large Top - absolutely, but not in the Colin Montgomerie way, I might add.
Size 34″ x 32″ Pant - 34″ waist on a good (very good) day and as long as I wasn’t expected to bend over (but that’s ok because I’m assuming it’s not that type of catalog); Pants would be 2″ too short
Athletic/Preferably a Golfer - Sh1t, would never have bluffed the ‘Golfer’, bit.

So, 2 1/2 out of 4 isn’t bad

Other than this I would have offered my stock poses, taken from and inspired by ‘Zoolander

1. The wide-eyed, caught in the car head-lamps, startled look.
2. The one arm raised in the air, looking wistfully and thoughtfully at the wristwatch look.
3. The hands on both hips, looking back, with smouldering expression, over one shoulder look.

And finally, they say,”Be prepared to show us your personality as well as your golf swing”.

I guess Ernie and Phil weren’t available, or they failed the personality test, but I have so many boxes ticked here! Oh well, Callaway’s loss for not letting me know sooner!
