Golf Clothing for Women
7 comments • Trackback
To the apparent delight of woman golfers everywhere, ardent Golfer Alison Doorst has opened the doors to www.PinksandGreens.com to fill a void in the women’s golf apparel market.
As well as providing an online boutique for women who love golf, Alison hopes to establish a community and blog (The Back Nine) around the site to connect golfers who love the sport. The inspiration for the site came as a reaction to the slightly masculine clothing available in the market - “who wants to dress like their dad on the Golf Course”
I think they may have gone to far in the other direction in their design and it’s all looks a bit ‘mumsy’ to me - but then what do I know about women’s golfing apparel, other than paying to much of an unhealthy interest in what Natalie Gulbis is wearing?

Got something to say?

I think the main focus needs to be shifted slightly so we have less stereotypical clothing but still suits the gender, and not lose sight of the most important things in sports clothing, and that is comfort.
Last week, i bought a golf cothing onlines,it is really wonderful.it let me know “Cost what you pay, Value what you get”online.
Great market, something for us woman..lol..but i agree with Amanda, less stereotypical clothing is in order!
I’m all for sprucing it up a little when it comes to golf clothes for woman…its far too traditional for sure right now
I love the Pinks and Greens website. I bought a few things from them for my wife and I never had any problems. Service was outstanding.

I would love to see my wife on the links in one of these outfits. Heck, I’d settle to see her in a golf simulator in an outfit!
Believe it or not my wife did not want to play golf because of the clothing. Until she found outfits that fit her style she hated to show up at the course. Any designer that can fill that void will do well.
