Q-Link

The sun is out, the birds are singing and I’ve returned from playing the round of my life (well, my embryonic 11 month playing career)….life is beautiful. I’m not saying anymore though because if I do, it’ll all go wrong and end in tears next time out.

I’m sure golfers are a neurotic bunch and the manufacturers and advertisers know this as well. Hold else would you explain the Science,’Bollocks’ of the Q-Link? This little device, which hangs around the neck, is based on a proprietary technology (in other words they made it up) called SRT (Sympathetic Resonance Technology), which is scientifically proven to strengthen the body’s energetic system and is now being targeted at Golfers.

The people behind Q-Link say that the device has been worn by more than 300 PGA tour players, who between them have gone on to win 130 tournaments…..and all down to the Q-Link (or so they seem to imply). The benefits are also seemingly endless but include reduced stress, maximal energy output and improved blood quality. The list goes on, but for the sake of brevity and your sanity, we’ll keep it to this. The diagram showing the normalized brain wave profile with Q-LInk is mighty impressive, particularly as it takes into account, The grand-mean change over time in resting EEG frequency.

Q-Link has launched a dedicated golf website www.lowergolfscores.co.uk which is designed to offer a clearer insight into the technology and benefits

Also they also clearly couldn’t resist the play on words, claiming that the Q-Klip, “does everything except hold your balls”….now that’s the sort of lazy copy I’d come up with! Possibly one for the Christmas list of the Golfer who has absolutely everything, including more money than they know what to do with…cos they aint cheap!
