Scotty Cameron

I like Scotty Cameron Putters. I’ve never tried one, but instinctively I know that I want one. My Putting game is coming on quite nicely and I’m pleased with the progress I’m making. My Odyssey Putter does the job it was intended for, so there is no justification for changing. But for me there’s something about the aesthetics of a Scotty that go beyond the mechanics of the game.
I don’t know of any other Golf Club that has its own forum (The Cameron Collector) and museum (Scotty Cameron Putter Museum)or generates such passion that a collector is willing to pay $35,000 to own one.
Having visited the Scotty Cameron’s new Blog it was no surprise to find that the man himself is interested in fine art and his blog carries the tag-line,”Art of Putting”.
I keep telling myself I’ve got all the clubs I need and just get on with playing and improving…but hey, there’s only 207 shopping days left until Christmas.

Got something to say?

I’d love one, far to pricey for me but one day hey
Think to yourself if there are 205 days until Christmas and you saved £1 a day, sorted !
Also, tried to subscribe to your RSS feed but looks like you may have a bug ?
Hi Darren, thanks for stopping by. Yep, looks like I’m going to have to borrow my daughter’s piggy bank.
This is a fairly new site so I wasn’t to concerned about syndication at this stage, but now you’ve mentioned it, I’ll look to get it working.
Two other guys in my foursome have SCs and they are very happy with them. Their putting is the same as ever, but they’re happy and I guess that’s all that matters.
Personally I take the opposite side. The fact that the Scotty Cameron mystique if essentially nothing other than marketing is a good reason to resist it. But obviously I’m in the minority.
